Get an Early Start at NEIU! Earn Credit Tuition Free
Trying to figure out if college is right for you? Curious about what a college class is like? Here’s a great way to find out while still in high school. You can be a Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) student for one class per semester at no/minimal cost! This is a great opportunity for students that may not be sure about college, want to explore a subject that they can’t get at high school, or that are just interested in trying something new.
No Tuition and Fees
Dual Enrollment Program students receive a NEIU scholarship waiver to cover the cost of attendance for one class. (Scholarship value for three credits at NEIU $1,592.85).
Students are responsible for their own classroom fees/books/ materials, which are not covered by NEIU scholarship waiver.
Dual Enrollment Overview
You can earn 3 or 4 NEIU credits each semester until you graduate from high school. You'll be taking a real college course with NEIU students, supported by NEIU faculty and staff to optimize your success. You'll connect with other motivated high school students from your school and around the city.
