Free College Classes for High School Students
Northeastern Illinois University’s College of Arts and Sciences is offering a great opportunity for high school students to get an early college experience, supported by scholarships! Experience college class rigor at NEIU this summer as a high school student.
Dual Enrollment Overview
You’ll earn 3 credits on a NEIU transcript (and are widely transferable to many other institutions). You’ll be taking a real college course with NEIU students, supported by NEIU advisors and staff to optimize your success. You’ll connect with other motivated high school students from around the city.

Free Community Summer Program
Join our free 4 day Neighborhood Digital Literacy Program this Summer 2025! The Advancing Broadband Equity through Learning Intermediaries in the Neighborhoods of Chicago (ABE-LINC) wants to support members of the community with digital access devices and skills to promote a culture of transformative connectivity in the City of Chicago. We are looking for participants, 18 years and older, who would like to participate in this unique summer opportunity. Participants can choose to attend the NEIU or CSU location.
The summer program will offer various workshops in the following areas:

Social Media Tips and Safety

Information on Utilities

Navigating Telehealth
*Participants will have the opportunity to get a computer (chromebook) totally free; one for each family. Participation in each day of the program, without missing, is required to receive your device. Recipients of previous devices are not eligible for a second device.
